Funnel-U is one of my favorite Russell Brunson programs…and here’s why:

Just to be clear, I don’t feel this way about all of Russell’s products (although most of them are pretty awesome)…
…but Funnel University is an impressive product, and because new newsletters are being added quite frequently it never stops gaining value.

Funnel University is part online classroom, part epic software, part funnel script package, and most importantly, it gives you access to the most ultimate collection of premium hacked funnels ever assembled.
If I sound like I’m hyping it too much, don’t blame me…blame it on Russell for making it so praise-worthy.
Like I said already, I’m not in love with all of Russell’s products, but this one is for sure a winner.

- The newsletters are incredibly detailed and full of actionable advice that can be applied to any business.
- Russell personally picks the funnels that get featured in the Funnel-U Newsletter.
- The MASSIVE library of computer scripts allows you to optimize your funnels.
- With the Instant File Uploader, you can upload downloadable files faster.
- The Webinar Chat App boosts conversions on your auto-webinars (for Russell, it comes close to doubling his conversions).
- The Survey Generator makes it easy to optimize your funnels for segmented audiences.
- Russell continually updates the training videos (the course is over three years old, but the content stays fresh).
Cons
- The Funnel-U Newsletters are labeled by issue number rather than by the type of funnels they feature. It would be really nice to be able to scan for the type of funnel you want to read about. Instead, you have to open each one to see what’s inside, which gets pretty annoying.
- The Newsletter is no longer monthly. As of late 2019, they’ve only been releasing one every two months.
Is Funnel University Right For Me?
Funnel University has a little bit of something for everyone.
Even if you don’t need the training, the computer scripts and generators alone are worth the investment.
On the flipside, if you don’t need the plugins, the training material is still worth the price of admission.

Funnel University Newsletter
When I originally subscribed to Funnel University, Russell had the Newsletter valued at $9,997.
I’m used to seeing over-hyped price tags on info products, so I didn’t think much of it…
But when I actually started digging into all the archived digital content, I was pretty impressed with everything inside…
When you subscribe to Funnel University, you get access to over three years of monthly Newsletters, but in all honesty, the word “newsletter” doesn’t accurately describe what’s inside.
For starters, each issue is closer to a full-fledged magazine publication…and they’re packed with actionable insights from unique funnels.
Believe it or not, Russell tries to hack at least one funnel every day of his life.
At the end of each month, he picks his two favorite funnels and shares them through the Funnel-U Newsletter (although starting in 2019 and continuing in 2020 the issues have only been coming out once every two months).
They usually share a common theme, like Issue #36, which features two unconventional funnels for astrology info products.
The issues are in-depth, and you leave with a healthy helping of funnel-hacking brain food.
By the time you’re done reading, you have key takeaways that you can apply to your own business.
But believe it or not, I still haven’t told you the best part…

1. Survey Generator
Surveys are a great way to make sure that you’re hitting people with marketing material that speaks directly to them.
In Russell’s case, he likes to use different sales videos for AUTHORS than he does for MARKETERS.
The question is, “How do you figure out who’s who when they’ve just entered your funnel?”
Luckily, this problem is easy to solve by inserting a quick survey into the beginning of your funnel.
All you have to do is ask them a couple questions and figure out who they are…then you can send them to the right sales video.
Russell’s Survey Generator creates simple surveys and then inserts them into your funnels with a piece of custom code.
Here’s how easy it is to create a survey:
STEP #1: Login to your DotComSecrets Labs members area (this is where your Generators are stored) and click on the “Instant Survey Generator” in the main menu.
STEP #2: Click the yellow “New Survey” button.
STEP #3: Name and tag your survey and then click “Add Survey.”
STEP #4: Create between 1-5 multiple choice questions.
STEP #5: Create a Bucket Question.
Each survey includes a Bucket Question that will send users to a different squeeze page depending on how they answer.
For example, if you ask, “What type of business describes you best?” and they answer “AUTHOR,” then you can send them to the right squeeze page.
STEP #6: When they enter their email on the squeeze page and hit “Send Me The Results Now!” they’ll be redirected to your sales page for authors.”
How to Add The Custom Code To Your Funnel:
The survey code is incredibly easy to add to your funnel.
All you have to do is…
- Copy the code.
- Open the survey’s page in your ClickFunnels funnel builder.
- Hit the yellow “CUSTOM JAVASCRIPT / HTML” button.
- Paste the code into the control panel that pops up on the right-hand side.
Congrats! You’re the proud owner of a segmented, highly-optimized 2-step sales funnel.
2. Webinar Chat Generator
Live webinars normally have way higher conversions than sales page and DOUBLE the conversions of automated webinars.
This is because live webinars are INTERACTIVE.
People get to ask questions in the chat box while they watch and this encourages them to stick around.
But what if you could add a chat box to your AUTOMATED webinars?
