What Is CreativeLive?
CreativeLive is an online learning platform that offers online classes in creative fields such as photography, video, design, and business.
It was founded in 2010 by Chase Jarvis and Craig Swanson. The company is headquartered in Seattle, Washington.
Since the launch over 10 years ago, CreativeLive has helped millions of people learn new skills and level up their creative abilities. It’s by far one of the most popular educational resources for creative professionals.
Who Is CreativeLive For?
CreativeLive is for anyone and everyone who wants to learn more about creative topics like photography, design, business, and even wellness.
While the classes are geared towards creative professionals, there’s something for everyone – from beginner to advanced.
If you’re on the fence about whether or not CreativeLive is worth it, I highly recommend checking out some of their free content.
You can find everything from quick tutorials to full-length classes that will give you a good idea of what you can expect if you decide to purchase a class.
Based on personal experience, once you start learning with CreativeLive, you won’t want to stop!
How Does CreativeLive Work?
CreativeLive offers a variety of different courses, which you can filter by topic or medium. You can also search for classes based on who the instructor is.
For example, if you’re interested in learning more about Facebook ads from Mari Smith, you can type her name into the search bar and find all of the classes she’s taught (or will teach) on CreativeLive.
Once you’ve found a class that looks interesting, just click “Watch Now” to sign up.
If it’s your first time taking a class on CreativeLive, make sure to create an account so that you can track your progress and access any materials the instructor provides.
The great thing about Live Classes is that they’re always free to watch.

What Are The Best CreativeLive Classes?
That’s a tough question to answer, since the best CreativeLive classes vary depending on your interests and needs.
However, I can recommend a few of my favorite classes for creative professionals:
- Graphic Design Bootcamp with Sean Adams
- The Art of Photography with Chase Jarvis
- Start & Grow Your Business with Amy Porterfield
- Social Media Marketing with Kim Garst
Classes that are specific to certain industries or skillsets are also a great bet.
For example, if you’re wanting to learn more about video editing, the Premiere Pro class from Chris and Tracey Wedding is an excellent option.
Or if you want to delve into podcasting, Stephanie Liu’s class is perfect for beginners.
The bottom line? There’s something for everyone.
CreativeLive Pricing: How Much Does CreativeLive Classes Cost?
So much much does CreativeLive cost in 2022?
The cost of CreativeLive classes vary depending on the instructor and the length of the class, but they typically range from $49 to $199.
That said, if you prefer to take more than one class or want access to all of CreativeLive’s content, their All-Access Pass is a great option (what I personally would recommend).
Here’s the cost of the CreativeLive All-Access Pass:
- $12.42/month ($149 billed annually)
- $15/month (annual commitment, billed monthly)
- $39/month (billed monthly)
With any of these plans, you’ll have unlimited access to all of CreativeLive’s classes.

There you have it – my complete CreativeLive review.
Personally, I really enjoy the CreativeLive learning experience and the value I get from the premium classes I take.
I’d say it’s definitely worth the relatively low cost (especially their All-Access Pass is well worth it). I highly recommend it if you are interested in the classes they offer.
